Fans Meet Idols (FMI) announced their first giveaway of a T-shirt and Digitally Autographed Photo "bundle" on June 16th. The launch of Nicole Webb’s merch created immediate buzz in the gymnastics community which ignited the idea of blending two popular items as a prize and reward Fans for participating in a Social Media activity.
It is free to enter and open to anyone within the United States. Fans can register with a simple like and comment on the Instagram post and follow @Nicole_Webb_ and @FansMeetIdols on Instagram.
About Nicole Webb
Nicole Webb is a NC State Gymnastics Alumni. She began her gymnastics career at the University of Florida, where she scored a best of 9.725 on beam as a freshman. She then transferred to NC State to continue her career. As a sophomore at NC State, Nicole led the team on beam in five meets and on floor in two. She was named to Second Team All-EAGL in beam and Floor and named to EAGL All-Tournament First Team in beam. In her junior year she was named to the All-EAGL Scholastic Team. As a senior, Nicole competed on beam in every meet and set a career best of 9.875 on beam. She collected three podium finishes in 2021, including one individual title. She earned EAGL All-Tournament First Team in beam, All-EAGL Scholastic Team, and WCGA Academic All-American. Nicole Webb graduated in 2021 and is still very active in the gymnastic community both at NC State and throughout North Carolina.
To capitalize on her gymnastics success, Nicole enlisted FMI to assist in creating a 1-stop shop for Fans to order Video Messages, Social Media Interactions, get Recruiting Advice, Book Lessons and In Person Appearances. She also collaborated with the talented FMI graphics team to create custom merch available on t-shirts, hoodies, water bottles. The Giveaway campaign was created to celebrate the debut launch begin interacting with Fans.
About Fans Meet Idols
Fans Meet Idols was founded in July 2020 to help Student-Athletes (SA) monetize their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) with Fans.
Fans do not judge an individual based on how many followers they have, or how big their brand is. They are a Fan because of who the Athlete already is.
We believe the broadest opportunities for the majority of Student-Athletes to capitalize on NIL is through Fan Engagement, which is why we created this Direct-to-Fan marketplace. We have launched merch to allow Student-Athletes to connect to Fans with physical goods in addition to digital packages.
OUR MISSION it to help Student-Athletes become Entrepreneurs while conditioning behaviors of Following the Rules and Giving Back to their Community.
